神戸、岡本にあるアートセンターOAG Art Center Kobeにて開催されたグループ展「WE THE DAY」にて、美術家・植松琢麿による彫刻《SCULPTOR'S SNACK》内でMISENOMA上田が1日限定のスナックバー「Ambient snack bar Masako」*をオープンしました。​

​*「周囲の」「環境の」を意味するambient（アンビエント）と「常温のおやつ」を意味するambient-snackを掛け合わせ、場所や時間を取り込むアートプロジェクトとして2022年夏に始動。

​以下、イベントの概要です。​

このたび、稲垣智子、植松琢麿、国谷隆志、宮嵜潤二の4名のアーティストによる展覧会「WE THE DAY」を開催いたします。
本展では、「THE DAY（その日）」をキーワードに、その日を生きる「人」が、時の流れと空間の中で変化していく姿に注目した稲垣智子による映像インスタレーション、ポップコーンを食べながら彫刻について語り合う空間、場そのものを彫刻として提示する植松琢麿の《SCULPTOR’S SNACK》、2004年より継続してある一日の「呼吸」を記録した国谷隆志の彫刻作品《Breath History》、同センターの庭のベンチを撮影した映像に、その日その場に訪れた観客の姿が重なっていく宮嵜潤二のインタラクティブなインスタレーションなど、それぞれの作家が“一日”という時間の断片を記録し、造形し、出来事として提示します。ぜひ会場にて、それぞれの「THE DAY」の断片と出会っていただけたら幸いです。

A casual reception will be held starting at 5:00 PM on Sunday, July 6.
Guests are welcome to bring a small dish to share.
At the same time and location, curator Masako Ueda (MISENOMA) will present the art project Ambient Snack Bar Masakoinside SCULPTOR’S SNACK, a sculptural installation by Takuma Uematsu.

We are pleased to present “WE THE DAY,” an exhibition featuring works by four artists: Tomoko Inagaki, Takuma Uematsu, Takashi Kunitani, and Junji Miyazaki.
The exhibition centers around the theme of “THE DAY”
Featured works include:
A video installation by Tomoko Inagaki, exploring the changing presence of people as they navigate a specific moment in time and place.
Takuma Uematsu‘s SCULPTOR’S SNACK, an immersive environment where visitors are invited to talk about sculpture while eating popcorn, treating the space itself as a sculptural work.
Takashi Kunitani’s Breath History, a sculptural piece that has continuously recorded the act of breathing on a single day since 2004.
An interactive installation by Junji Miyazaki, where footage of a garden bench on-site is overlaid with the real-time presence of visitors, capturing their existence in that moment.
Each artist presents a unique fragment of a single day—captured, shaped, and offered as a lived event.
